The Psalmist speaks in Psalm 115:3 “But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.” Until we see the beautiful face of the Lord Jesus, we will never understand the very intricate, deep and unfathomable ways of our great God! The Apostle Paul states in 1 Cor. 13:12 “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.”
My Lord is directing His servant to speak with a number of people about proclaiming the glorious gospel message in their sphere of influence. Only HE can open a door that can never be shut and shut a door that can never be opened (Rev. 3:7-8)! Please pray with me that these very big doors will open as the enemy (devil) does all that he can to stop the powerful gospel message from entering into these very dark places!
Beginning Sunday morning, September 14, we are praying that the mighty power of our Lord will be with us in a revival setting at Meridian Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN where Michael Martin is the pastor. Pastor Michael has been praying and planning this revival since the first of this year! He really wants to experience a powerful move of the living God at Meridian Baptist Church! He has not even been the pastor here for a year! His Lord has given him a great vision for this church! As I began my day the first of this week, my Lord said to me: “Son, they are praying down there!” That is where the move of Almighty God begins (Acts 4:23-31)!
The awesome power of the living God is moving at Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN where Charles Brewer is the pastor. People are being Born Again, baptized, and joining the church! New faces are in this church that has a storied history of impacting this world for the Lord Jesus! My grandfather, Pastor Howard Harvel, pastored here over 80 years ago! On Sunday, August 10, I was honored to stand in the pulpit where Papaw Harvel stood! There is always a great Spirit here as they can sing the praises of their Lord as well as any church in this country! On Sunday morning, my Lord had His messenger to deliver the message, What Does Sin Do To You? I talked about the life of Samson! You could have heard a pin drop on the floor during the message because the power of God was moving so strongly and deeply! Pastor Charles prays over each class and pew very early on Sunday morning before the people arrive and his Lord hears and answers him (Jer. 33:3)! One dear lady came forward during the public invitation to ask for prayer as she is going into a penal facility for young people! She also requested the How To Be Born Again flyers and I gave her plenty! On Sunday night, my Lord had His messenger to talk about Zacchaeus, The Little Man With The Big Heart. My Lord had me to challenge the people to be passionate in reaching people for the Lord Jesus as He was passionate in reaching Zacchaeus, the despicable tax collector! The Holy Spirit led me to give personal soul winning story after story to show that our great God will go to great lengths to reach a spiritually lost soul! No one came forward during the public invitation, but a key leader came to me after the service and said: “Give me some tracts!” Do you think that he was under strong conviction? As I laid my head down on my pillow to sleep on Sunday night, my Lord said to me: “Son, many people made decisions today.” Glory Be! Pastor Charles Brewer called me on Monday morning and stated: “I have been told that God moved at Lebanon Baptist Church yesterday!” I have learned in over 33 years of proclaiming the gospel that just because people do not come forward during the public invitation does not mean that they have not made a decision! Kim and I saw two precious members of this church in public this past week. The wife said: “The message at Lebanon on Sunday was powerful!”
This passionate soul winner is so very thankful for your powerful, persistent, and passionate prayers as well as your financial assistance! A very few people know my great heart for reaching this spiritually lost world for my Lord! Please pray with me that my Lord will allow His soul winner to lead untold billions to Him before, during, and after I go to Heaven! If HE would allow me to set up an office in the pits of HELL, I would go immediately!
Please pray with me that the Lord will lead us to the person who can get the song, Let Jesus Set You Free, before the masses of the lost people of this world.
