Praise the Lord!  The power of the living God is moving across this great nation for He is doing all that He can to save spiritually lost people!  We are in the Last Days!  “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams. Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days” (Joel 2:28-29 NKJV).

A prominent businessman in a certain city recently told me this story. “It was the night of April 20, 1948, in Burnside, Kentucky.  I was eleven years old, and Evangelist Jack Wease was a young evangelist from Asbury College preaching a revival at my home church, First Methodist Church.  I saw what he had, and it hit me like a ton of bricks!  I wanted what he had! I gave my heart to Jesus that night!” For the past several years, this businessman has been watching the television broadcast A Date with Destiny.  He has reached out to me on several occasions, and I could clearly see that he was under very strong conviction!  His Lord has spoken to him and to his wife as He has made it very clear to them that they needed to be Biblically baptized by immersion.  They asked me to baptize them, but I was proclaiming the gospel in a revival service!  They were beautifully baptized by immersion at his wife’s homeplace last month! They sent me the beautiful video! He made it very clear to me that the calling of the evangelist is not dead for two evangelists have greatly impacted his life! Praise the Lord (Acts 2:41)!

It was a true joy to serve alongside Pastor Michael Martin of Meridian Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN last month in a revival setting. Pastor Michael has been praying and planning for this revival since the first of the year! He and a fine layman took me door to door sharing the gospel! It is always exciting! This layman was powerfully touched by his Lord in the services to learn how to share his faith!  Several precious people recommitted their lives to their Lord while others totally surrendered their lives to Him! The enemy fought the convicting power of the Holy Spirit during the public invitation in each service!  I not only saw it, but I felt it!

Before the first service began on Sunday morning, a dear loving Spirit-filled lady came to me to tell me that three men were in the service visiting at the invitation of her and her husband.  They told her that they knew me from the Jefferson County Jail!  I was so very blessed to be able to have fellowship with them after the service! These dear men are clean and serving their Lord faithfully!   What joy to see and experience our great God honor our labors for Him (Hebrews 6:10)!

A very tall man came to me after the final night of the revival and hugged me as he said in tears: “You have no idea what this revival has meant to me and to our church!”  A dear loving Spirit-filled lady came to me after one of the services and said: “Brother Harvel, I haven’t heard preaching like this in years!”  She presented me with her personal copy of the classic book Absolute Surrender by Andrew Murray.  On Monday night, my Lord had me to deliver the message Three Things in Hell That Should Be Found in Every Church: Tears, Prayers, and A Concern for the Lost.”  The very next night, another precious loving Spirit-filled lady, Ella Mae Hood, came to present me with a beautiful poem that her Lord gave to her titled Prayer of Repentance.  She told me that her Lord gave her this poem after she had heard the message the previous night!  Attached is this beautiful poem!

My Lord is moving mightily!  I cannot always print everything for it would come across as bragging! I hope to have some great news for you very soon! Next Sunday, I hope to be presenting the glorious gospel message at Westview Baptist Church in Morristown where Travis Webb is the pastor.

With every fiber that is within me, thank you for your faithful prayers and support!  May my Lord find me winning spiritually lost people to Him when He returns!

Prayer of Repentance

By Ella Mae Hood

(September 16, 2025)

Just to walk closer with You my God.

This is my plea, my solemn request.

To feel Your Holy Spirit, Your path to trod.

I know You gave for me Your very best.

When I think of Jesus, Your Gift of Grace

To know, I am so very unworthy.

That He would lay down His life to take my place

On the cruel cross of Mount Calvary.

When I remember the love shown at the cross

The mercy for all He showed in His prayer.

He asked not for Himself, bur for the lost.

Could I show this much compassion and care?

God said “without the shedding of blood

There is no remission for our sins.”

He spared not His only Son, so perfect, so good

To save our souls, give us peace within.

God, I repent, accept me, I come by faith.

I know I have failed, please forgive me.

Help me to stay on the Christian path

In all I do to honor and praise Thee.

In my life, may Your will be done

Until You are ready to call me home.

Then I can thank Your precious Son.

For grace that prepared me for Your Kingdom.
